DESCRIPTION:
*     Venue: Viswanathan Anand International Chess Hall, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar.
*     Total rounds: Nine
*     Total prize fund: Rs 1.2 lakh, including Rs 20,000 for the champion and Rs 15,000 for the runner-up.
*     Entry fee: Rs 990 per player.
*     National qualification: Top four finishers will be eligible to represent Odisha in the 63rd Senior National Chess Championship, scheduled to be held in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh from 28 December 2026 to 7 January 2027.
