  At- PARIS (France) & SZOMBATHELY (Hungary)
 

DESCRIPTION:
*     FIG World Challenge Cup is series of annual international individual apparatus competitions, run by International Gymnastics Federation (FIG).
*     Four gymnasts, including two women of the Odisha AM/NS India Gymnastics High Performance Centre (HPC) have been selected to represent the country in this competition.
*     They are: Tapeswarnath Das, Tapan Mohanty (both male); Pranati Nayak and Tannu (both female).
*     The quartet is among 11 gymnasts selected from the national camp which was held in collaboration with the Department of Sports and Youth Services, Government of Odisha at Odisha AM/NS Gymnastics HPC, Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar from 22 July to 30 August 2025.
*     Ahead of the tournaments, the entire Indian contingent will attend a national foreign exposure camp in Paris from September 1 to 22 to gain experience in training and competing in a world-class environment.
*     Ashok Kumar Mishra, chief coach at Odisha AM/NS India Gymnastics HPC will accompany the gymnasts to the foreign exposure camp in Paris.
*     Pranati Nayak won the bronze medal in vault event of the World Challenge Cup Tournament in Szombathely, Hungary from 8-10 September 2023.
