*     Odisha defender Amit Rohidas and forward Shilanand Lakra have been selected in the 18-member Indian squad for this Asia Cup.
*     Odisha defender Nilam Sanjeep Xess has been chosen as one of the two alternate athletes.
*     India will compete in Pool A with Japan, China, and Kazakhstan.
*     India will begin their campaign against China on 29 August, before facing Japan on 31 August and Kazakhstan on 1 September.
*     South Korea have won the most titles with five.
*     India and Pakistan have both won the tournament three times.
