DESCRIPTION:
*     This World University Games will feature 18 sports disciplines and 23 venues.
*     According to KIIT University, a 407-member congingent, the highest ever, will represent India in this Games.
*     Highest number of 40 players from KIIT University have been included in the Indian contingent, which would feature 107 technical and administrative officials.
*     One players each from Utkal and Sambalpur universities have also been included in the Indian contingent.
*     KIIT athletics coach Sanjay Garnayak and volleyball coach Lotak Bindu Dash will be accompanying the Indian contintent. 
*     KIIT University has provided an advance of Rs 60 lakh toward entry fee of Indian contingent.
*     Odisha badminton player Abhinash Mohanty of KIIT has been selected in the Indian team..
*     Olympian Lakshya Sen will be the flag-bearer for the Indian.
