DESCRIPTION:
*     The 14th edition of the biennial U-21 tournament, which was first held in 1979, will feature 24 teams for the first time.
*     Germany is the most successful team, having won the tournament seven times followed by Argentina and India, having won the tournament two times.
*     Australia and Pakistan have each won the tournament once.
*     India has, so far, won two gold (2001, 2016), one silver (1997) and three bronze medals (2005, 2021, 2023).
