DESCRIPTION:
*     Two women international football friendlies between India and Uzbekistan will be played in Tashkent on 31 May and 4 June 2024.
*     Two players from Odisha have been selected in the 23-member India Senior Women Team for the international friendlies.
*     They are: defender Juli Kishan and forward Pyari Xaxa.
*     The Blue Tigresses played two matches against Uzbekistan last year and lost 2-3 and 0-3 respectively.
*     Earlier this year, the Indian team had finished runners-up in the Turkish Womens Cup, behind Kosovo, in a quadrangular tournament that also featured Estonia and Hong Kong.
