DESCRIPTION:
*     This will be the 20th edition of the World U20 Championships, which was earlier known as IAAF World Junior Championships.
*     The first IAAF World Junior Championships was held in Greece in 1986.
*     A record number of 1700 athletes from more than 130 countries are expecte3d to compete in the 20th edition of the global age-group showpiece.
*     Athletics Federation of India has announced a 43-member National squad for the 20th edition.
*     India has, so far, bagged a total a total of 10 medals, which include 2 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze.
*     The Indian squad includes two athletes from Odisha.
*     Odisha athletes are: Bapi Hansda (400m and 4x400m relay) and Dondapati Mrutyam Jayaram (100m).
