DESCRIPTION:
*     Hockey India on Oct 14 announced an 18-member Indian junior men’s team, including four from Odisha for the above-mentioned tournament.
*     The three Odisha players are: Pratap Lakra, Pankaj Kumar Rajak, Suman Beck and Shilanand Lakra.
*     The team will be led by Vivek Sagar Prasad with Pratap Lakra as his deputy.
*     The Indian team will be participating in the tournament after a gap of one year as they finished second in the 5th edition in 2015 where they lost to Great Britain in the final.
*     Altogether six teams are participating in the tournament with the other five being Japan, Malaysia, USA, Australia and Great Britain.

Defenders: Suman Beck, Pratap Lakra (Vice-captain), Sukhjeet Singh, Varinder Singh, Mandeep Mor, Sanjay.
Mid-fielders: Harmanjit Singh, Rabichandra Singh Moirangthem, Vivek Sagar Prasad (Captain), Vishal Singh, Vishal Antil.
Forwards: Shilanand Lakra, Raushan Kumar, Abhishek, Dilpreet Singh, Maninder Singh.
