DESCRIPTION:
*     Altogether 123 players from 20 states, including three from Odisha have joined the nine-round tournament.
*     Odisha players are: Soundarya Kumar Pradhan, Subhendu Kumar Patra and Sudhira Kumar Nayak.
*     Three-time National A champion Kishan Gangolli of Karnataka is top seed.
*     Top 14 players from this tournament will be qualified for National A Chess Championship, scheduled to be held in Mumbai from March 3 to 11, 2017.
