DESCRIPTION:
*     Altogether 20 teams, including two from Odisha, would compete in this championship.
*     Teams have been placed in four pools and after completion of pool league matches, top two teams from each pool would advance to the quarterfinals.
*     Of the two sides from Odisha, Hockey Odisha has been placed in Pool-B along with Steel Plant Sports Board, Bengal Hockey Association, Manipur Hockey and Mumbai Hockey Association.
*     Hockey Gangpur-Odisha has been placed in Pool-B along with Hockey Himachal, Hockey Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh Hockey and Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu.
