DESCRIPTION:
*     The Games will feature competition in nine disciplines _ 1. Alpine Skiing, 2. Cross Country Skiing, 3. Figure Skating, 4. Floor Hockey, 5. Floorball, 6. Short Track Speed Skating, 7. Snowboarding, 8. Snowshoeing, 9. Stick Shooting.
*     Figure skating, speed skating, floorball, floor hockey and stick shooting will be held in Graz.
*     Cross country skiing will be held in Ramsau.
*     Alpine skiing and snowboarding will be held in Schladming.
*     Around 2,700 mentally challenged athletes are set to participate in the 2017 Special Olympics World Winter Games.
*     About 1,000 coaches will come with them.
*     Two athletes and as many coaches from Odisha have been included in the 131-member Indian contingent for the above-mentioned Games.
*     Of the two Odisha athletes, Sarita Routray will compete in floor hockey and Sonali Pradhan will do so in floor ball.
*     They will be accompanied by Sasmita Mohapatra and Swagatika Pradhan as coach of the Indian floor hockey and floorball teams respectively.
