DESCRIPTION:
*     Mid-field ace Ritu Rani will lead an 18-member Indian team for the above-mentioned series.
*     Four players from Odisha _ Sunita Lakra, Deep Grace Ekka, Lilima Minz, Namita Toppo _ have been included in the squad, which was announced by Hockey India during the ongoing national camp here at Kalinga Stadium Hockey Complex.
*     The Indian women`s team has been on a high this year, winning the second round of the Hockey World League earlier this year in Delhi.
*     The team gained fifth position in the Hockey World League Round 3 by virtue of which they qualified for Rio Olympics for the first time in 36 years.
*     Indian women have been practicing together since the camp started in Bhubaneswar on October 1.
*     Neil Andrew Hawgood retuned to the team as the chief coach towards the end of Octobe.
*     Hawgood, who represented Australia’s senior team from 1985 to 1991, played instrumental role in Indian women`s team winning the Hockey World League Round 2 (2013), silver medal in Asian Champions Trophy, bronze at 2014 Asian Games.
