The two-day State meet would serve as the basis for selection of Orissa squad for the forthcoming National championship.

Over 300 arm-wrestlers from 15 districts are expected to vie for medals in 19 weight classes.

Competition for men feature weight classes of 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 100, 110 and above 110 kg.

Competition for women feature weight classes of 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80 and above 80 kg.
