DESCRIPTION:
*     Hockey India on February 28 announced an 18-member Indian women team for the above-mentioned competition.
*     As many as five players from Odisha found place in the Indian team.
*     They were: Deep Grace Ekka, Namita Toppo, Sunita Lakra, Lilima Minz and Anupa Barla.
*     The league featuring eight teams is divided in Pool A and Pool B.
*     India are placed in Pool A with Poland, Ghana and Thailand while Malaysia, Russia, Kazakhistan and Singapore are placed in Pool B.
*     India are slotted against Ghana in their opening match scheduled for March 7.
*     Matches will be telecast live and exclusive on DD Sports.
