DESCRIPTION:
* The festival will feature competition in three categories.
* The festival offers a total prize fund of Rs 19 lakh.
* Players with 2000 or above rating are eligible to compete in the Elite Category, which offers total cash prize of Rs 11 lakh, including Rs 3 lakh for the champion and Rs 2 lakh for the runner-up.
* According to AOCA secretary Vivek Kumar Tibarewal, around 75 titled players from 15 countries, including 22 Grandmasters and 30 International Masters have already confirmed their participation in the event.
* Platinum and Premier categories are meant for players with 1999 or below and 1699 or below ratings respectively.
* Both the second and third category offer total prize money of Rs 4 lakh each, including Rs 50,000 for the title winner.
* There will be 10 rounds of competition in each of the three categories.
* Elite category will take place from May 24 to 31, Platinum category from May 24 to 27 and Premium category from May 28 to 31.
