DESCRIPTION:
*     World Amateur Champinship is meant for players with below 2000 FIDE rating and it was first held in 2011.
*     Odisha`s Aparajita Gochhikar has been selected to represent India in the women category of the above-mentioned championship.
*     Aparajita qualified after finishing third in the National Amateur Championship at Kolkata.
*     KIIT University would be sponsoring a major part of Aparajita`s expenses for the championship.
