STATE:
*     Won two titles in the the 6th Bhaina Memorial All-Odisha Open Prize Money Karate Tournament, held at Utkal Karate School in Bhubaneswar on June 20, 2014.
*     Won one silver and one bronze on her debut in State karate championship at Bhubaneswar.

NATIONAL:
*     Won one gold medal in U-21 women below 68kg fight category of the National Junior, Cadet & U-21 Karate Championship, held at Guwahati, Assam from 5-7 April, 2019.
*     Won one bronze medal in U-21 individual kata event of the KAI Cadet, Junior & Under-21 National Karate Championship, held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, Delhi from Jan 30 to Feb 2, 2018.
*     Won the gold medal in U-21 female fight category of the KAI Sub-junior, Junior, Cadet and U-21 National Karate Championship, held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi from May 10 to 13, 2017.
*     Won one gold in junior kata and one bronze in junior fight categories of the KAI Sub-junior, Cadet & Junior National Karate Championship, held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi from May 20 to 22, 2016.
*     She has bagged a total of four silver and two bronze medals in National championships.
*     Secured one silver each in cadet girls` kata and kumite categories of the KAI Junior, Sub-junior and Cadet National Karate Championships, held at Talkotara Indoor Stadium in New Delhi from May 30 to June 1, 2014.
*     Won one bronze medal in cadet women individual kata category of the 26th Senior National Championship held at Talkatora Stadiuim in New Delhi from Sept  11 to 13, 2013.
*     In her second National championship at Delhi in 2012, she bagged one silver and one bronze.
*     Made her national debut at Chennai in 2011 when studying in Standard-VII.

INTERNATIONAL:
*     Won gold medal in women category of the South Asian Karate Championship, held at Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo from August 3 to 6, 2017.
*     Won one gold medal in junior girls kata event of the 3rd South Asian Karate Championship at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi on Sept 24, 2016.
*     Won silver medal in junior girls above 59kg fight category of the 8th Commonwealth Karate Championship, held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in Delhi from Sept 18 to 20, 2015.
*     Made her international debut in the 14th Asian Karate Championship at Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) in 2014 and lost in the first round.

OTHER NOTABLE INFORMATION:
*     On one occasion she her combating skills helped her save their house from being burgled. A couple punches and kicks were enough to force the thief run away. Thereafter there has been no burglary in her locality.
*     Payal`s father is an employee of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and a karate coach, who won national medal in his hey days.
*     Leaned the basics of karate when studying in Standard-I and started her competitive career in karate when studying in Standard V.
