*     He was conferred with the Biju Patnaik Sports Award for Outstanding Coach for the Year for 2011 by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in Bhubaneswar on August 29, 2014. The award carried a cheque of Rs 50,000.

*     Received special coaching tips in a two-month-long programme in Hungary in 2011-12.
