CAREER PERFORMANCE/ACHIEVEMENT:
*     He was elected president of All India Physiotherapist Association (AIPA) at Baroda on March 27, 2011, defeating Indian cricket team`s former physio Dr Ali Irani.
*     He is also the founder of Manual Therapy Foundation of India.
*     In the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, he was assigned to train all the physiotherapists on sports injury and management.
*     Dr Mohanty is a member of International Society of Educators in Physiotherapy (under WCPT) and life member of Indian Association of Physiotherapists.
*     Trained in USA, Belgium, Australia and UK, Dr Mohanty organised the 1st World Congress on Manual Therapy at Mangalore 2011.
*     He has been treating sports related injuries through manual therapy camps both in and outside the country.
*     Awarded PhD in Physical Education and Sports by Mangalore University for his thesis entitled `Physiological Variations and Tendency of Acute Mountain Sickness in Trekkers` in 2012-13.
