*     After completing his Masters in Geology, he began his journalism career as a sub editor in Times of India, New Delhi, in 1997, where he had a long stint.
*     Worked as the Sports Editor of The New Indian Express from 2008 till he breathed his last.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
*     Passed away at his at his Kilpauk residence in Chennai at the age of 40.
*     Breathed his last after battling cancer for 11 months.
*     Despite undergoing pain owing to treatment, he kept working close to two weeks before the end came.
*     He is the second son of noted litteratuer, retired Professor of English, Utkal University, and editor of Prameya (Odia daily) Ganeswar Mishra and retired reader in Economics, BJB College (Odisha Education Service, Surangini Mishra.
*     His brothers are Subrat, Sunand and Sandeep.
