MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT AS UMPIRE:
*     Made his first-class debut as umpire by officiating the Ranji match between Odisha and Goa at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack in 2003-04.
*     By the year 2012, he had conducted 32 BCCI women’s matches and around 600 inter-district matches.
*     Emerged the topper in the OCA-panel umpires’ examination in 1999.
Became a BCCI Level-I umpire in 2000.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
*     Successfully completed the 3rd Curators Certification Course, which was conducted by the BCCI at National Cricket Academy in Bangalore from June 30 to July 12, 2014. He was declared as passed, securing 75.33 and 73.33 per cent marks in theory and practical examinations respectively.
