*     Did graduation from Rajendra College, Bolangir.
*     Completed Graduation in Law and Post-Graduation in English at Rourkela.


MAJOR PERFORMANCE/ACHIEVEMENT:
*     Played IFA Shield Tournament while doing his post-graduation in English in Gangadhar Mehera College, Sambalpur.
*     Represented Odisha in Santosh Trophy for the first time at Naoganj, Assam in 1969.
*     Played Santosh Trophy two more times in 1974 and 1975.
*     After retirement from service, he started groomed young footballers by setting up an academy at Rourke, named Kalinga Institute.


OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
*     Started playing football when studying in class VII of Braja Mohan High School in Bhawanipatna.
*     He was the best footballer of the school for three years.
*     Represented Sambalpur University in inter-university athletics and volleyball.
*     Won medals for Bolangir district in relay run and high jump.
*     Played football for Rourkela Steel Plant from 1970 to 1978.
*     Took voluntary retirement from Rourkela Steel Plant in 2002 as Public Relation Officer.
*     Joined Koshali Ekata Manch as Chief Secretary in 2003.
*     At present he is functioning as the working president of Koshal Kranti Party.
