*     She was the first Odisha player to take part in the Kabaddi Pro League.
*     Tied nuptial knot with National-level kabaddi player Pradeep Jena in Bhubaneswar on 18 February, 2018.
*     She was appointed directly as Sub-Inspector of Police and received the appointment letter from the hands of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar on April 30, 2015.
*     Earlier in 2012, she joined sports hostel at Visakhapatnam with a handsome stipend and proper facilities after she failed to get a job in Odisha.
*     Good Samaritan Trust felicitated her with a cash award of Rs 25,000 in Bhubaneswar on July 14, 2012.
*     Odisha Olympic Association on March 6 announced a cash incentive of Rs 50,000 for Rasmita for being a part of the India woman kabadi team, which won the first World Cup title at Patna.
