NATIONAL:
* Won three gold medals in 62kg class, lifting 102+128kg in the 7th Youth National Championship at Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh on Nov 24, 2011. He also set a new National record in the snatch.
* Won one silver medals in the 62kg weight class of the 6th Youth National Weightlifting Championship, lifting 95+122kg at Yamuna Nagar, Haryana in 2010.
* Won one bronze medal in 62kg class, lifting 77+100kg in the School National Championship at Patiala, Punjab in 2008.
INTERNATIONAL:
* Bagged gold in junior men 62kg category of the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships, lifting 95kg in snatch, 125kg in clean & jerk for a total of 220kg at Apia in Samoa on June 7, 2012.
* Won gold medal in 62 kg youth category of the Commonwealth Championship, lifting 102 kg in snatch, 130 kg in clean and jerk for a total of 232 kg at Cape Town, South Africa on October 12, 2011.

* He was felicitated with the second runner-up prize of Rs 50,000 at the 21st Ekalabya Award function in Bhubaneswar on December 29, 2013.
* Underwent training at the Army Sports Institute, Pune.
