*     Represented Orissa in the 28th Junior National Hockey Championships at Bareilly (1993) and SAIL Hockey team at Delhi (1995).
*     Represented SAIL team in the Senior National Hockey Championship at Bangalore (1997), Jammu (2000), and Orissa at Hyderabad (1999).
*     Attended Senior National coaching camp at Ludhiana in 2001.

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS AS COACH:
*     He was the Coach of the Rourkela Steel Plant team that won the Gold medal in the 2nd HAO State Senior Men Hockey Championship at Kalinga Hockey Stadium, Bhubaneswar on 9 September 2023.
*     Under his coaching SAIL team won the title in the U-18 National Hockey Championship at Guntur (AP) in 2007 and at Hyderabad in 2008; finished runners-up in U-21 National Hockey championship at Jabalpur in 2005.
*     He has the credit of producing three international players (Birendra Lakra , Jerom Lakra and Sushil Xalxo) so far.
