* Represented Bhubaneswar in Kalahandi Cup Inter-District Cricket Tournament for seven years, including two years as captain.
* Under his captainship, Bhubaneswar won the Kalahandi Cup in 2004.
* Picked as a stand-by for Odisha Ranji Trophy team for three years but was never included in the playing XI.
* Played Tripura League for one year (1997).
* Played Chennai League for Pentasoft for one year.
* Played CAB League in Kolkata for four years, including two years for Mohammedan Sporting, one year for Young Bengal and one year for Kumartuli.

* Worked as chief trainer with all the faculty members as the NCA specialist camp in 2015.
* Has the experience of working with a number of eminent coaches including Michael Bevan of Australia, Waqar Younis of Pakistan, Muthiah Muralitharan of Sri Lanka, VVS Lakshman, Debu Mitra, Goutam Shom and Rajib Duttta.
* Functioned as chief trainer of Bengal state under-19, under-16 and under-14 teams for three years from 2012 to 2014. Also worked for the Vision Twenty20 Project of Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB).
