*     Won around 20 National medals as the coach of Odisha State hockey teams.
*     He was coach of the Odisha U-21 men hockey team that won bronze medal at the 3rd Khelo India Youth Games in Guwahati on 21 January, 2020.
*     He was the coach of the Odisha U-21 boys team that won the gold medal in the 2nd Khelo India Youth Games, held at Pune and Mumbai from Jan 7-20, 2019.
*     He was the coach of the Hockey Odisha men team that bagged bronze medal in the 1st Hockey India 5-a-Side Senior National Championship, held at Balewadi Stadium in Pune from October 26 to 30, 2016.
*     He was the coach of the Hockey Odisha team that retained the title in the Hockey India 6th Junior Men National Championship (Division-A) at Raipur in Chhattisgarh on May 15, 2016.
*     He was coach of the Hockey Odisha team that secured Bronze medal in the 6th Hockey India Senior Men National Championship (Division-A), held at Saifai in Uttar Pradesh from April 20 to May 1, 2016.
*     He was the coach of the Hockey Odisha team that won gold medal for the fifth time in a row in the Hockey India Sub-Junior Men National Championship (Division A), held at Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi from May 17 to 24, 2015.

*     Bagged the Biju Patnaik Sports Award for Excellence in Coaching, 2009.
*     Groomed 58 international and over 100 national level hockey plaeyrs in his 35-year-long coaching career.
*     His distinguished trainees include internationals Lazrus Barla, Ignace Tirkey, Prabodh Tirkey, William Xalxo, Amit Rohidas, Dipsan Tirkey, Gloria DungdungJyoti Sunita Kullu, Subhadra Pradhan, Teresa Kujur and Sabita Ekka.
