*     Represented Orissa in the Sub-junior National Football Championship  in 1984 at Tiruchirapally (Tamil Nadu).
*     Represented Sambalpur University in the Inter-University Football Championship in 1985 (at Jharsuguda); 1991 (in Bengal) and 1992 (at Cuttack).
*     Represented Utkal University in the Inter-University Football Championship for two years (1995 and 1996).
*     Represented Orissa twice in Junior National Football Championship at Shilong, Meghalaya (1989) and Sambalpur, Orissa (1990).
*     Represented Orissa in Under-21 National Football Championship in 1992 (Kerala).
*    Represented Orissa in the Santosh Trophy National Football Championship at Chennai in 1995.

CAREER PERFORMANCE AS REFEREE:
*     Took to refereeship in 2001.
*     Has been doing duty as a National (AIFF) panel referee since 2005.
*     Did duty in the 33rd National Games at Guwahati (Assam) in 2007.
*     Became Odisha`s first AIFF referee instructor after obtaining necessary qualification in the All-India Referee Assessor and Evaluation Examination, held at Cochin in Karla from December 18 to 20, 2011.

*     Susant`s father was an university level hockey and football player.
*     His brother Swadhincheta represented Orissa in Junior National Football Championship.
*     Susant was the captain of Sambalpur University in 1992.
