*     Secured a total of eight Gold, one Silver and one Bronze medals starting from Bombay Open National Meet in 1984.

INTERNATIONAL:
*     Claimed one Bronze medal in Junior International Track & Field Meet at Seoul, South Korea in 1984.
*     Bagged one Gold medal in SAF Games at Kathmandu, Nepal in 1984.
*     Retained the Gold medal in SAF Games at Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1985.
*     Participated in the World University Games at Kobe, Japan in 1985.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
*     He was suffering from kidney ailment.
*     Breathed his last at Ispat General Hospital, Rourkela.
