PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION: Did diploma in football coaching from NIS, Kolkata in 1985-86.

PROFESSION: Joined Sports Department, Government of Orissa as a football coach in 1986. Since then, he served at sports hostels in Balasore, Sundargarh, Koraput, Keonjhar before being placed at Bhubaneswar Sports Hostel as coach of the girl football trainees in 2002. Also served as District Sports Officer in Jajpur and Boud.

CAREER PERFORMANCE/ACHIEVEMENT AS PLAYER:
*     Represented Utkal University in Inter-University Football Tournament for one year.

PERFORMANCE/ACHIEVEMENT AS A COACH:
*     Grooming girl footballers at Bhubaneswar Sports Hostel since 2002.
*     His students include senior internationals Sasmita Mallick, Alochana Senapati, Suprava Samal and over a dozen junior internationals.
