MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS AS PLAYER:
* He was a member of Indian volleyball team that won the gold medal in the SAF Games at Colombo in 1991.
* Represented India in Junior Asian Championship at Bangkok, Thailand in 1990.
* Played test matches against Australia, Kazakhstan, Iran, Japan and China.
* He was the first volleyball player from the state to represent the country.
MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS AS COACH:
* Appointed as assistant coach of the Indian team for the ing Asian Youth Volleyball Championship at Teheran (Iran) from May 13 to 21, 2010.
* Did the FIVB (International Volleyball Federation) Level-II coaching course.
