*     Won the title in the 29th Bhubaneswar Open Chess Tournament, held at Bhubaneswar from January 23 to 25, 2016.
*     Won the title in the State Open Chess Championship, which was organised by Orissa State Chess Association at Secretariat Recreation Club in Bhubaneswar from Dec 25 to 27, 2015.
*     Won the title in the 10th All-Odisha Open Chess Tournament, held at Secretariat Recreation Club in Bhubaneswar on March 29, 2015.
*     Finished runner-up in the 28th Bhubaneswar Open Chess Tournament, which was organized by Bhubaneswar Chess Association at Odisha Secretariat Recreation Club in Bhubaneswar on January 26, 2015.
*     Won the title in the 20th Makhanlal Halder Memorial All-Odisha Open Chess Tournament at Durgabadi Samiti in Puri on June 22, 2014.
*     Won the title in the 9th OSRC All-Odisha Open Chess Tournament, held at Odisha Secretariat Recreation Club in Bhubaneswar from March 30 to April 1, 2014.
*     Won the title in the 19th Makhanlal Halder Memorial All Odisha Open Chess Tournament at Durgabari Samiti premises in Puri on June 30, 2013.

*     Won the Utkal University chess title three times from 1987 to 1989.

*     Won the State under-25 chess title once in 1992 at Bhubaneswar.

NATIONAL:
*     Emerged champion in the 23rd Makhanlal Halder Memorial All-India Open Chess Tournament, which was organised by Puri District Chess Association (PDCA) at Durgabaadi Samiti in Puri from June 24 to 26, 2016.
*     Represented Orissa in National Sub-junior Championship twice at Secunderabad and Goa in 1982 and 1983.
*     Represented Orissa in National Junior Championship three times at Nagpur, Calicut and Sangli (1984-86).
*     Represented Utkal University in Inter-University Chess Championship three times from 1987 to 1989. Won board prize for board No 3 at Coimbatore in 1989.
*     Represented Orissa in National `B’ Championship four times at Madras, Pune and and Nagpur.

INTERNATIONAL:
*     Finished third among below 2250 rating category in the Tata International Open Chess Tournament at Jamshedpur in 1991-92.
