*     Worked simultaneously as manager of a printing press and managing editor of two sports magazines for a couple of years.
*     Joined mainstream journalism as a sub-editor (sports), Odia daily, The Sambad in 1984.
*     Served The Sambad for 10 years, helping sports reach common people through media and popularise sports, before leaving the organisation in 1995.
*     Operated as freelancer for two-years, contributing sports news, features and photos to news papers, including English daily, The Telegraph.
*     Contributed photos different media houses and magazines, including Sachitra Vijaya.
