PROFESSION: Working as volleyball coach in the Department of Sports and Youth Services, Government of Orissa since 1980.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

AS A PLAYER:

Represented Orissa in Senior National Volleyball Championship twice at Calcutta and Hyderabad in 1977 and 1978.

Attended Youth India coaching camp in 1979 at Patiala, Punjab.

AS COACH:

Groomed many players including international Ramesh Ojha and over 20 Senior National players, including Baidyanath Dash, Mohammad Masi-ud Zama, Subhasish Bal, Padma Charan Biswal and Umakant Patel.

Serving as the volleyball secretary of Bhubaneswar Athletic Association since 2002.
