* Received the trophy from former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam after emerging champion in an All-India Chess Tournament for the Blind, held at Tamil Nadu in 2009.
INTERNATIONAL:
* Qualified to represent the country in the World Junior Chess Championship for the Blind in 2009, but missed the opportunity due to Plus-Three examinations.
