MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS AS PLAYER:
*     Represented Berhampur University in Inter-University Football Tournament for four years (1979-1982). He also led his university football team.
*     Represented Odisha in Junior National Football Championship at Agartala in 1983.

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS AS COACH:
*     He was the coach of the Sundargarh Sports Hostel team that emerged champions in the 9th Biju Patnaik Gold Cup All-Odisha Inter-School Football Tournament at Bhubaneswar on Dec 22, 2015.
*     Serving at Government Sports Hostel, Sundargarh since 2005.
*     Also worked at different places in the state including Bhawanipatna, Bhubaneswar and Baripada.
*     Groomed scores of young talents, including u-17 international Raman Malha.
