*     Won one gold medal in women`s 400m sprint (1:05.9s) event of the 59th Odisha State Athletic Meet at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack (Dec 28 to 30, 2011).

NATIONAL:

*     Won a silver medal in 400m sprint, clocking 54.89 seconds in the 52nd National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championship at Hyderabad on June 24, 2012.
*     Bagged a silver medal in women 400m event, clocking 54.89s in the 52nd National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championship at Hyderabad on June 24, 2012.
*     Won the women`s
400 metre gold in the 60th All-India Police Athletic Meet at New Delhi on March 13, 2012.
*     Bagged women’s 400 metre gold in the All-India Police Athletic Meet at Lucknow on Feb 11, 2009, clocking 55.79 seconds.
*     Secured the women’s 400m bronze medal with a timing 56.52 seconds in the National Sprints Meet at NSNIS, Patiala on Sept 19, 2009.


INTERNATIONAL:

*     Helped All India Police Sports Control Board win the gold medal in women’s 4x400 meter relay event of the 52nd National Open Athletics Championship at J N Stadium in Chennai on Sept 13, 2012.
*     Helped India with a gold medal in 4x400m women relay event of the Asian Grand Prix Meet at Bangkok in Thailand on May 8, 2012.
*     Bagged two gold (200m sprint and 4x100m relay), one silver (4x400m relay) and one bronze (400m hurdles) medals in the 14th World Police & Fire Games at New York on September 3, 2011.
*     Bagged six medals (two gold in 200m and 400m run, three silvers in 400m hurdles, 4x100m and 4x400m relay and one bronze in 800m run) in the 13th World Police & Fire Games at British Columbia in Canada (August 4 to 8, 2009).

OTHER IMPORTANT DATA:
*     Tata Steel offered Saraswati a three-month-long advance training stint at Tata Athletics Academy in Jamshedpur from Sept 15, 2009.
*     Since childhood days, she has been dreaming to represent the country one day and win two square meals a day for her nine-member family.
*     She happens to be the sole bread-earner of the family.
*     Despite being the eldest of the daughters, she remains single so that she could take care of the family.
