*     Won Cuttack district senior mens chess title five times and represented the State in National B Chess Championship five times.
*     His highest ELO was 2131.
*     Functioned as founder and honorary secretary of All Odisha Chess Association from 2011 to 2017.
*     During his six-year tenure as founder and honorary secretary of All Odisha Chess Association, the sport achieved tremendous development in the State.
*     Inflow of major spornsorships helped AOCA organize international tournaments, which enabled Odisha players earn rating points at home.
*     Chess governance became more professional and transparent during his tenure.
*     He was the manager of Indian team that bagged highest number of medals at the Commonwealth Chess Championshp 2009 in Singapore.

*     Finished senior 40+ men’s doubles runners-up in the 6th Utkal Open All-Odisha Tennis Tournament, held at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar, Jan 11-13, 2019.
*     Finished 40-plus veteran doubles runners-up in the 19th All-Odisha Nalco Open Tennis Tournament, held at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar from Dec 23-25, 2017.
