Odisha State Fencing Association (OSFA) today announced a 31-member State squad for participation in the 14th Mini & 8th Child National Fencing Championships, scheduled to be held at the Gymnasium Hall, University of Jammu in Jammu from 23 to 27 September 2026.

According to OSFA secretary Debendra Kumar Sa, the squad was finalised after the culmination of the selection trial, which was organised with the support of the State Sports & Youth Services Department at Bhubaneswar Fencing Academy (BFA) in Bhubaneswar from September 4 to 13.

A total of 37 boys and girls participated in the trial, which was conducted by BFA coaches Sukanta Seth, Nitin Swain and Bolangir Sports Hostel coaches Karishma Rout and Roshan Sahoo. OSFA organising secretary Sumit Ranjan Purohit wished the State squad all success in the ensuing National championships.

U-10 Boys Sabre: Ayaansh Kumar, Rahul Rout (both Bhubaneswar); Aayansh Rai Choudhary, Pratyush Sahoo (both Bolangir).
U-10 Girls Sabre: Priyanka Khamari (Bolangir).
