The Odisha Womens League (OWL) 2026 commenced with a goal deluge as SRM Sports Club mauled Ganjam XI 25-0 in the opening match at Unit-1 Football Ground, Bhubaneswar today. Sonali Biswas was the top scorer with eight goals to her name. Nita Football Academy trounced Tata Steel Foundation, Joda 7-1, while Odisha Police prevailed over KIIT-KISS 2-0 in two other matches of the day.

OWL 2026 is being jointly organized by the Department of Sports & Youth Services (DSYS), Government of Odisha and the Football Association of Odisha (FAO). OWL, featuring 12 teams and a total of 45 matches, is scheduled to conclude on June 12.

Matches will be played in two zones at Cuttack and Bhubaneswar. Teams will play preliminary league matches in two groups of six teams each. After the end of 30 preliminary league matches, the top four teams from Group-A and top two from Group-B will qualify for the super league.

19 May 2026 (Match 2, Odisha Police Ground, Cuttack): Nita Football Academy (Rukmani Murmu 6, 12, 23, 30, 72, Kiran Deep 21, 33) beat Tata Steel Foundation, Joda (Barsha Mahakud 23) 7-1.

19 May 2026 (Match 3, Unit-1 Football Ground, Bhubaneswar): Odisha Police (Satyabati Khadia 25, Malati Munda 48) beat KIIT-KISS 2-0.
