  U-19 Inter-District Cricket: Nine teams register wins

Nine teams posted wins in respective preliminary league matches of the OCA U-19 Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament (One-Day Format) at different venues in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khordha today. In a high-scoring match, featuring two centuries, Bhubaneswar-B overcame Nayagarh by 35 runs.

Jajpur thrashed Cuttack-B by seven wickets in another match of the day. Among notable performers of the day, Anurag Samantaray (Bhubaneswar-B) and Jeevan D Karlekar (Nayagarh) scored a century each, while K Deepak Patra (Boudh) and Ayusman Panda (Nabarangpur) bagged five or more wickets each.

Match 1 (Sunshine Ground, Cuttack): Bhubaneswar-B 363/8 in 45 overs (Anurag Samantaray 104, Durga P Mallick 44; Kartik Nayak 3/45) beat Nayagarh 328/9 in 45 overs (Jeevan D Karlekar 114, D Sobhan 79; Durga P Mallick 3/39, Mrutyunjaya Tripathy 3/39) by 35 runs. PoM: Durga P Mallick.

Match 2 (DRIEMS Stadium, Tangi): Paradip 113/10 in 26.1 overs (Satya R Swain 30; Sekh Tanveer 3/22) lost to Sambalpur-A 114/5 in 33.4 overs (Arman Bohidar 31; Udit N Jata 3/19) by 5 wickets. PoM: Sekh Tanveer.

Match 3 (BJBHS Ground, Khordha): Kalahandi 162/10 in 20 overs (Naresh Bag 67; G Sanmukha Rao 3/19, James Lima 3/26) lost to Gajapati 163/7 in 33.1 overs (Tejeswar Barla 70; Nruparaj Putel 4/57) by 3 wickets. PoM: James Lima.

Match 4 (Adashpur College Ground, Cuttack): Sundargarh 189/10 in 39.4 overs (Sanjib Badaik 30; Ansuman Parida 3/28) beat Kendrapara 143/10 in 36.1 overs (Ashim Barad 62; Artik Sahu 3/15) by 46 runs. PoM: Artik Sahu.

Match 5 (Nimpur Ground, Cuttack): Kandhamal 119/10 in 24.3 overs (Anuj K Yadav 22; Md Faizal Azad 4/24) beat Sambalpur-B 104/10 in 33.1 overs (Prabhu P Satapathy 33; Pritam K Samal 4/13, Ayush Kumar Naga 3/21) by 15 runs. PoM: Pritam K Samal.

Match 6 (Ravenshaw Ground, Cuttack): Nabarangpur 201/10 in 38.5 overs (Sumit K Bagh 50; K Deepak Patra 6/26) beat Boudh 137/10 in 34.5 overs (K Deepak Patra 41; Ayusman Panda 5/35) by 64 runs. PoM: Ayusman Panda.
