Bhubaneswar-A boys emerged champion in the OCA U-16 Inter District Cricket Tournament, outclashing Khordha in the lop-sided final by 10 wickets at Ravenshaw University Ground in Cuttack today. Suvam Parida was the main architect of the Bhubaneswar-A win, taking six wickets for 16 runs.
Put into bat, Khordha were bundled out for 66 in 28.1 overs. In reply, Bhubaneswar-A rode on an unbeaten 45 Shreyansh Bidhar to overhaul the target in 9.4 overs without losing any wicket.
The tournament, which commenced on April 2, witnessed the participation of 37 district teams. A total of 103 matches were played during the tournament across various venues in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khordha.
