A beleaguered Odisha crashed out from the league stage of the BCCI Senior Women T20 Trophy Tournament, losing to Haryana by nine wickets in their seventh and last Elite Group-C match at Capt Roop Singh Stadium in Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) today.

This was the sixth defeat for the Odisha team which could win only one match in the tournament against Tripura. Odisha suffered their earlier five defeats against Hyderabad, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andhra and Karnataka.

Tanmayee Behera was the only Odisha player to shine against Haryana, hitting the only half-century for her team in the entire tournament. She also captured the only wicket Haryana lost while chasing down a victory target of 114. Captain Shafali Verma and Deeya Yadav scored an unbeaten half-century each for Haryana.
