Incredible performance young allrounder Soumya Ranjan Lenka helped Odisha register a thrilling one-run win over Railways in their elite Group-A match of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 Tournament at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh today.

Playing only his third match for Odisha senior men team, the 22-year-old Lenka slammed a 40-ball unbeaten 75 (4x3, 6x6) as Odisha compiled a competitive total of 169 for five after opting to bat. Putting up stellar performance in bowling as well, he claimed three wickets as Railways were bowled out for 168. Lenka was awarded as the player of the match.

This was the second win in five matches for Odisha, who earlier lost three matches in a row against Kerala, Andhra and Vidarbha before posting their first win against Chhattisgarh. Odisha will next meet Assam on December 6.
