Odisha suffered back-to-back defeats in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 Tournament when they lost to Andhra by 66 runs in their second Elite Group-A match at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh today.

Put into bat, Andhra mustered 184 for seven with Odisha captain Biplab Samantray proving himself as the most successful bowler for his team, taking three wickets for 20 runs. In reply, Odisha were skittled out for 118. It was embarrassing that the hapless Odisha team could not bat for the full 20 overs. Sumper Sourav Gouda was their top scorer with a 16-ball 24.

This was the second straight defeat for Odisha, who lost to Kerala by 10 wickets earlier in their opening match two days back. Odisha will next meet Vidarbha at the same venue on November 30.
