A half-century each by Tanmayee Behera and captain Alipsa Biswal went in vain as Odisha lost to Haryana by seven wickets in their third Elite Group-B match of the BCCI Women U-23 T20 Trophy Cricket Tournament at KCA Cricket Ground in Mangalapuram, Trivandrum today.

Riding on a 98-run partnership for the second wicket between Tanmayee and Alipsa, Odisha made a modest total of 131 for four after opting to bat. Haryana overhauled the target 17.3 overs, losing three wickets in the process.

This was the first defeat for Odisha, who won their first two matches against minnows Sikkim by 85 runs and Uttarakhand by three runs. Odisha will next meet Baroda at KCA Cricket Ground, Trivandrum on November 29.
