The new players have been given berths in the 15-member Odisha Senior Men Cricket Team for their first three matches of the Ranji Trophy Championship to be played against Baroda, Uttar Pradesh and Andhra between 15 October and 4 November 2025. The three players are: Gourav Choudhary, Sambit S Baral and Badal Biswal.

Subhranshu Senapati will lead the team, which was announced by Odisha Cricket Association Senior Men Selection Committee chairman Sourajit Mohapatra, along with members Abakash Khatua and Subhrajit Sahoo at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack today. Swastik Samal was named as the vice-captain.

Five players, including former captains Biplab Samantaray and Shantanu Mishra were picked as standby. Odisha has been placed in Elite Group-A, along with Vidarbha, Tamil Nadu, Baroda, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra and Nagaland.
