Tanmaya Tripathy was the only contestant from Odisha to win a top-three prize in any category. He finished runner-up in Category-C with 7.5 points from 10 rounds. Tanmaya pocketed a cash prize of Rs 75,000.
The closing ceremony featured Olympian and Hockey India president Dilip Tirkey, KIIT founder Achyuta Samanta, AICF member Ranjan Mohanty, tournament director IM Sekhar Chandra Sahu and chief arbiter Vasanth BH.
