  U-19 Men Inter-Dist Cricket: Aditya hits 92 in Cuttack-A win

Aditya R Ray hit a sparking 92 to power Cuttack-A to a 166-run win against Puri in their preliminary league match of the OCA U-19 Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament (One-Day Format) at DRIEMS Grounds in Tangi, Cuttack today.

Keonjhar, Kandhamal, Bhubaneswar-A, Bargarh and Paradip registered wins in five other matches of the day. Among other outstanding performers, Sarwan K Sahoo (Keonjhar), Dibyendu Panda (Bhubaneswar-A) and Pritish K Dash (Bargarh) took four or more wickets each, while Vishal K Ray (Kandhamal), Prayan P Samal (Dhenkanal) and Mishu K Singh (Paradip) scored a half-century each.

RESULTS (30 May 2025):
 

Match 49 (DRIEMS Ground): Cuttack-A 206/10 in 42.4 overs (Aditya R Ray 92, Anil Sahoo 40; Bahusan Majhee 4/32, Rohan K Sahoo 3/37) beat Puri 40/10 in 20.5 overs (Piyus R Mantri 3/4, Satyajit Sahoo 2/2, Janmajay Jena 2/3) by 166 runs. PoM: Aditya R Ray.

Match 50 (Sunshine Ground): Dhenkanal 131/10 in 35 overs (Prayan P Samal 54; Sarwan K Sahoo 5/11, Sanket Panda 2/29) lost to Keonjhar 132/6 in 32.5 overs (Sarthak S Prakash 48, Subham P Sahoo 24; Shreyanshu Mohanty 3/23, Krishna Samal 2/30) by 4 wickets. PoM: Sarwan K Sahoo.

Match 51 (Bidanasi Ground): Balasore 164/10 in 39 overs (Aaradhya Kaushik 42, Shubham R Palai 33; Anuj Kumar Yadav 2/17, Pritam K Samal 2/23) lost to Kandhamal 162/7 in 44 overs (Vishal K Ray 56, Pritam K Samal 30; Kaushal Periwal 2/29, Kamalesh Patra 2/45) by 3 runs (DLS Method). Match 52 (Ravenshaw Ground-1): Nuapada 84/10 in 33.3 overs (Dibyajyoti Malik 37; Dibyendu Panda 4/10, Chandranshu S Baghel 2/11) lost to Bhubaneswar-A 86/2 in 22.1 overs (Swagat S Mishra 30, Aayan Nayak 20) by 8 wickets. PoM: Dibyendu Panda.

Match 53 (Ravenshaw Ground-2): Bargarh 158/10 in 37.1 overs (Pritish K Das 39*, Arjun S Kunwar 33; Koustik Mohanty 4/20, Mahesh Kumar Sahoo 2/8) beat Rourkela 119/10 in 36.3 overs (Himanshu Choubey 31, Surya Naik 26; Pritish K Dash 4/28, Sk Hayat 3/17) by 39 runs. PoM: Pritish K Dash.
