Bhubaneswar-A, Rourkela and Bargarh registered wins in respective preliminary league matches of the OCA U-19 Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament (One-Day Format) at different grounds in Cuttack today. Rain played spoilsport as three other matches of the day were abandoned.

Soumya Ranjan Mohanty bagged three wickets for seven runs as Bhubaneswar-A beat Ganjam by 36 runs, via DLS Method. Rourkela rode on three-wicket haul by Krishna Singh to prevail over Nuapada by four wickets. A four-wicket haul by Arjun S Kunwar helped Bargarh get the better of Paradip by five wickets.

Match 40 (Bidanasi Ground): Bhubaneswar-A 177/10 in 41 overs (Shreyanshu Pattnaik 54, Saswat Rout 53; Abhineet K Patnaik 4/26, Anirudh Patnaik 4/43) beat Ganjam 71/8 in 20 overs (Soumya Ranjan Mohanty 3/7, Pragyan Kumar Patri 2/18) by 36 runs (DLS Method). PoM: Soumya Ranjan Mohanty.

Match 41 (Ravenshaw Ground-1): Nuapada 104/10 in 38.3 overs (Swayam Meher 24; Krishna Singh 3/7, Rehan Khan 3/11) lost to Rourkela 99/6 in 25.3 overs (Krishna Singh 19, Nikhil Chandrapar 3/29, Swayam Meher 2/17) by 4 wickets (DLM Method). PoM: Krishna Singh.
